THANKS FOR ATTENDING THE 26th F-100 WESTERN NATIONALS!
The quality of trucks was outstanding this year. The judges had their work cut out for them. Gary Coe’s 1957 F100 took “Best Of Show”.  There were truckers from Nebraska, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Southern and Northern California. We even had a few mates from Australia who came just for the show!
The weekend started on Friday morning with about 25 trucks heading to Newport Beach on “Jeff’s Beach Cruise”. They returned by 3:30PM at the John Force Race Station in Yorba Linda for a guided tour then headed for dinner and drinks, or drinks and some dinner at the El Torito next to the Ayres hotel.
O’dark a clock came quick Saturday and we had the gates open by 6AM and had a very organized move in. The park quickly filled up and by 9AM I was looking for my first of many waters for the day..
Debbie Baker was on hand to receive an appreciation award from Pickups limited of Orange County for her work with UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center; a check for $500.00 was also given for Prostate Cancer Research.
The awards started about 2PM and ended with the drawing of the Grand Prize a set of Colorado Custom Wheels and a complete bed from Dan Carpenter was completed by
3:30PM.
A special thanks to our vendors who supported the show this year and to my fellow club members who were there to support me during the year and who worked the show to make it a successful one.

See you on June 20, 2009.

Thank you
