With our safety check now behind us, it’s time for the real fun (and work) to begin. The clouds are gone and it’s time to get out there and drive. There are a ton of events on the schedule so be sure to look at the events pages and mark your calendars. You don’t want to miss out on the coming events. The obvious events are our own F-100 Western Nationals on June 25-26, and the North South Run is from August 20-22. There are also plenty of other local events that are well worth taking in. My favorites always include - The Corn Feed Run in Chino on August 28th, Cruisin for a Cure on September 25th as well as some new events that are coming up fast such as on June 5th at BS Industries. This year I am really looking forward to our own Road Trip to the Run to the Sun in Lake Havasu Arizona from October 20-24.

This baby will include every-thing imaginable including a side trip to visit with Mid Fifty! I need a nap just thinking about all of the miles I’ll be driving this summer.

Besides all of this over the top stuff, remember that you can go cruisin almost every night by checking
with the Weekly & Monthly event guide... something must be going on right around the corner from you
right now. There are a few essentials that you want to have on hand besides tools, spare tire, and your
favorite person riding shot gun, Don’t forget to carry some of the new Pickups Limited Orange County
Chapter cards and newsletters.

The cards are great to pass out to prospective members as they show our meeting place on the back
side and even have a spot for you to fill in your name. If you did not get some at the safety check, they
will be available at the next meeting.

You always want to have some newsletters with you EVEN IF THEY ARE OLD ONES. Our newsletter is
full of goodies that are helpful in showcasing our chapter to the rest of the Hot Rod World and it always
includes a membership application.

So it really is time to kick it in gear and have a great season!
